v4.4July 2026
Design release A clearer terminal
- Everything reads easier: the whole report is sized by the job each piece does, it scales to your screen, and nothing renders below 11px. The manual S/M/L control is gone - it simply fits.
- The cards lift off the page: the warm paper behind them separates properly now, so a dense report reads as distinct blocks instead of one flat sheet.
- A new top bar, with notifications: your account sits top-right next to a bell that collects the last 14 days worth knowing about - a scan finished, a mandate found new matches, or a company you track had a verified outcome. Only companies you track, nothing shared.
- Targets are boxes you can open: every target in a scan is a card that opens in place with the full read, the cited source, and Track and Vault right there.
- One colour scale everywhere: a score's colour now means one thing across the entire report.
v4.3July 2026
Feature release The Vault takes real files, and a second kind of scan
- Attach real files to the Vault: alongside pasted notes, drop the document itself - a CIM, a teaser, financials - as a PDF, TXT, MD, or CSV up to 25 MB. Xenaris extracts the deal-relevant facts the moment it lands.
- The new Diligence Scan reads a deal inside-out: it cross-examines every material claim in your documents against the public record. Each claim comes back verified, contradicted, or unverifiable, with red flags, data gaps, and a Diligence Readiness score.
- Your private data now works for you: when you scan a company you hold Vault documents on, Xenaris uses your extracted private facts to sharpen the analysis. Never indexed, never shared, never cited as a source.
- Attach and go: attach a document when launching any scan and Xenaris secures it, reads it, and launches in one motion. For Diligence Scans, your documents never leave Xenaris at all.
v4.2July 2026
Feature release Every report now tells you what to do
- An action plan on every scan: Xenaris turns each report into a concrete, prioritized playbook - who to approach first, how to position it, the timing edge to use, and the named targets for each move. Written for your side of the deal, buy-side or sell-side.
- The plan travels with the report: it shows on the scan page, inside the guest link you share, in your completion email, and in your weekly Mandate alerts.
- Edit a scan's criteria in place: open any scan and see the exact thesis behind it. Change the angle and re-run it on the spot, or save it as a standing Mandate that sweeps the market every week.
v4.1July 2026
Feature release Your Universe connects the dots
- See how companies connect: open any company in the Universe to see who it shares an investor with, and who surfaced alongside it in the same mandate - the shape of a roll-up or a warm-intro path, one click away.
- The Universe remembers outcomes: companies that have since transacted now show their result - who acquired them, for how much, and when - right on their profile.
- Trending targets: a new strip surfaces the companies drawing the most demand across recent research, so there's always a reason to look.
v4.0.2July 2026
Feature release A new face, Mandates, and reports you can hand to anyone
- Xenaris works on engineering paper now: a warm canvas ruled with a fine blueprint grid, everything you read floating on clean cards. Same product, sharper instrument.
- Always-On is now Mandates - the name finally matches the thing: a standing mandate Xenaris sweeps the market against every week. Your agents keep running exactly as before.
- Your dashboard knows you: it greets you by name, tells you what ran this week, and shows your world in three tiles - scans ready, active mandates, deals tracked.
- The Deal Pipeline became a board: tracked companies are cards on stage columns - Watching, Approached, In diligence, LOI, Closed. Drag a card to move a deal along.
- Share a report with anyone: mint a guest link and the full report opens on xenaris.io - no sign-up needed to read, and the link expires 72 hours after it is first opened.
- One New Scan button, two doors: a one-time Full Scan, or a standing Mandate.
v4.0July 2026
Feature release The outcome ledger - every claim, settled against reality
- Every readiness score Xenaris publishes is now frozen into an append-only ledger the moment it is made - score, transaction window, and deadline. Nothing is ever rewritten.
- When a company transacts, the event is verified by a human and settled against the ledger: hits, misses, and lead times, counted honestly. No accuracy number is shown before it is earned.
- Historical validation: dated 2025 assessments settle the same way - including companies our research scored months before their acquisitions were announced.
- The Universe learned to see relationships: companies that share investors are now connected on the map, and your pipeline gets network intelligence built from those bridges.
- The Deal Vault: paste call notes or documents on any tracked company and Xenaris extracts the facts into your private record - never indexed, never shared, never used for anyone else.
v3.6July 2026
Feature release Fact-book invites - the target hears about it first
- On any target-focus scan you can now invite the company's own leadership or investors: a one-time note that their company appeared in acquisition-focused research, with its overall readiness score.
- Key people come prefilled from the research itself. Send by email, or copy the message for LinkedIn or any other channel.
- The report itself is never shared. The invitation is to build their Fact-book: verified data, shared on their terms, visible only to parties they approve.
v3.5July 2026
Feature release The Xenaris Universe
- Every company our research has touched, in one shared, sanitized index: readiness scores, demand heat, and cited public sources. No theses, no owners - and it grows with every scan.
- The map: sectors as constellations on a living star chart. Star size is the readiness score, hot demand pulses, and filters reshape the sky in front of you.
- Premium reveals every company name, niche, and cited source. Free accounts see live scores and demand with identities withheld.
- One click from any star to a full scan or an Always-On watch.
ExtensionJuly 2026
New surface Xenaris in your browser - live on the Chrome Web Store
- Check any company as you browse: coverage status, readiness score, and Always-On state, one click from any page.
- Add a company to Always-On or launch a full scan without leaving the site you're on - including LinkedIn company pages.
Add to Chromev3.4July 2026
Feature release Always-On runs on your calendar
- Next-action reminders: set a call, meeting, or follow-up date on any Always-On agent and Xenaris automatically runs a fresh scan the day before - you walk in with current signals, not last week's.
- Run now on every agent, once per 72 hours, enforced server-side. Your first agent runs its first scan the moment you create it.
- The Always-On dashboard joined the rest of the product: live stats, target favicons, criteria chips, and a real-time scanning status.
- Faster loads across the board - the dashboard paints immediately and fills in.
v3.3.3July 2026
Product design A friendlier way to start a scan
- Pick your angle in one tap: Mandate search, Corp development, or Sell-side. The same URL reads completely differently depending on who's asking - now that choice is front and center.
- Clear scan-type cards for open research and consent-gated corpus research, with numbered steps and inline guidance.
Comfortable on your phone
- A full mobile pass across the product: scan reports, Always-On agents, deal pipelines, and account settings all read properly from a phone between meetings.
v3.3.1July 2026
Design system Sharper, more accessible design
- The Xenaris warm palette became a full design token system, with accessibility-grade text contrast on every readiness tier and screen-reader labels throughout.
Clearer reports, no black boxes
- Official company names in scan headers.
- "What's this?" explainers on every score that matters: the Deal Readiness Index, Likelihood to Transact, and the 10 signal layers. A score you can't audit is just a number.
v3.1 - v3.2June - July 2026
Foundation Report reliability + deal workspaces
- The live intelligence dashboard now always renders on completed scans - reliability fixed at the pipeline level.
- Deal Pipeline workspaces: group every scan for one target or thesis and track its readiness over time, with one-click export.
- Buy-side scans lead with what buy-side operators need: qualified targets found and the strongest signal, each with its own readiness score.
The road here
From a private bank project
to the intelligence layer.
The platform era begins
- The application was redesigned end to end into the product you see today: a warm, editorial intelligence terminal built around one idea - a scan should read like a briefing from your best analyst, not a database export.
- Loop1 open research scans: 10 proprietary signal layers over public data, Deal Readiness Index scoring, ranked buyer universes, and a cited source behind every score.
- Loop2 corpus research scans: the same engine over consent-gated material a seller chooses to share, for diligence-grade depth.
- The Always-On agent arrived: your thesis becomes a standing mandate that re-scans the market on schedule, pings you the moment a company crosses your threshold, and keeps your pipeline warm while you sleep.
v1 - v2March 2026
Self-service Back to basics, open for sign-ups
- The first self-service Xenaris: sign up, point it at a target, get a report - no analyst call required.
- A deliberate back-to-basics pass underneath: fewer features, faster scans, tighter reports. The productivity and pipeline work in this stretch is what made the v3 platform possible.
BetaNovember 2025
First reports Weekly signal intelligence, human in the loop
- The first recurring product: weekly signal intelligence scanning across customer watchlists, with an analyst in the loop validating every signal before it reached a customer.
- The first Xenaris intelligence reports shipped in this era - the direct ancestors of today's scan briefings, and the discipline behind them (every claim sourced, every score explainable) survives unchanged.
Eight design partners, signals that came true
- Eight design partners onboarded across private equity, corporate development, and advisory - practitioners who ran their real theses through the engine and told us where it was wrong.
- 23 validated signals that went on to materialize as real market events, with a 1-2 month prediction window at 87% accuracy. The first hard evidence that readiness is detectable before the market moves.
Spun out of a private project for a tier-2 US bank
- Xenaris began as a private intelligence project for a tier-2 US bank: 700 buyers profiled, each mapped to what they were likely to acquire in the following 6-12 months.
- 700 public companies analyzed against those mandates. 22 live deal opportunities identified - and the targets went on to receive LOIs.
- The lesson became the company: acquisition readiness and timing are detectable in advance, at scale. The signal model behind today's Deal Readiness Index started here.
